How It Works

The learner views a course then takes a test. Once they pass the test with an 80% or higher, they are qualified to advance to the next course but may go back and review the course as often as desired. Once all the courses in a program are successfully completed, the learner may print out a certificate.

Move University provides consistent training and tracking results. The training is comprised of audio, video, text, graphics and photos. It utilizes various testing formats such as true/false, multiple choice, matching, and interactive exercises to keep it interesting and improve learning retention. Move University will continually add new programs to the library as well as update existing ones.

Participation in Move University’s online courses is simple. Click on “Register” and complete the form to set up a company account with a user name and password.

Pay the onetime registration fee through a secure shopping cart. The registration fee is $375.00; however, enter the coupon code from your participating movers association to receive up to a $175.00 discount. There may be other discount options available. Members can purchase a monthly or annual subscription with automated recurring billing required. Monthly (Basic) subscribers have access to one training program per month and Annual (Premier) subscribers have immediate access to all of the Move U library as well as extra training programs.

Subscriptions will continue until cancelled according to the plan you purchased.  If you cancel or allow your subscription to lapse, and you decide to subscribe again,  you will be required to pay the full registration fee.

Monthly Subscriptions

up to 10 employees = $59.95 per month
up to 20 employees = $99.95 per month
up to 35 employees = $159.95 per month
up to 50 employees = $199.95 per month

Yearly Subscriptions

up to 10 employees = $720.00 a year
up to 20 employees = $1200.00 a year
up to 35 employees = $1920.00 a year
up to 50 employees = $2400.00 a year

Email [email protected] if your company has more than 50 employees. Members can change their subscription to another plan effective the next month. Monthly subscription packages are valid for 30 days and are based on a range of learners whether or not courses are accessed. There are no rollovers, credits, or refunds on unused training sessions.

Once a subscription package has been selected, a Move University administrator can create individual accounts for each employee with an individual user name. For liability reasons, it is imperative companies be able to demonstrate training completion by each employee and maintain records of training history.

Log in to access the training based on your subscription: Premier or Basic.

Moveuniversity.org will continually add new training courses and programs. Learners can access training and learn at their own pace; beginning a course, pausing and returning at any time. Progress will be saved. Learners will be administered a test to document training progress at the end of the course. Once a program (series of courses) has been completed with successful passing test scores, the learner will be able to print off a Certificate for that program. Learners may return to review a course and retake a test any time. The best test grade is saved.

A new course is available every 30 days for monthly subscribers.

Once 75% of the employees have received certificates, the company will be eligible for truck stickers with the Move University logo; “Our employees are professionally trained at Move University.” Employees who have received certificates also qualify for uniform patches “Certified Professional Mover, Loader, Driver, or Packer and Master Mover certification.” Certificates, uniform patches and truck graphics are available for training that has met the www.moveuniversity.org training criteria.

The administrator shall assign learners to a department based on their job responsibilities and position within the company. This assignment determines access levels to training and development material. Content is department specific.
